    Famous alumni

    Li Jian, the top scorer of Zhongshan in the College Entrance Examination in 2002, was admitted to Tsinghua University; later went to University of California Berkeley to study for her PhD with high scholarship.

    Hu Fanghao, was admitted to Wuhan University in 2004; later went to Iowa State University and Columbia University to study for his PhD.

    Ye Qianer, the top scorer of Arts subjects and Chinese in the College Entrance Examination in Zhongshan, 2008, was admitted to Peking University.

    Yin Ruonan, was admitted to Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2009; later went to Yale University to study for his PhD with full scholarship.

    Gu Qiushi, the first “Excellent Student” of 2008, was admitted to Raffles Institution in Singapore and is now studying in Cambridge University.

    Ma Chang was admitted to Raffles Girl’s School in Singapore in 2008 and is now studying in Oxford University.

    Liu Man, the top scorer of Science subjects in the College Entrance Examination in Zhongshan in 2012, also among the top 10 students in Guangdong Province, was admitted to Tsinghua University; later got the offer from Harvard University for her Master’s degree.
