International Students in our School Elected for the National Final of Yale Economic Forum

On April 16th, a total of 21 international students of the three teams(the three "companies") from Overseas Chinese Secondary School went to Shunde, Foshan to participate in the business simulation competition of "Yale World Youth Economic Forum" in South China.

After two days of intense running and roadshow events, the team "Kingdom" company from Grade 1 of International Division gained the bronze medal of "Yale World Youth Economic Forum" in South China and had access to the national final. The team members was awarded  "ASDAN Young Entrepreneurs Certificate"  issued by the UK headquarters.

ASDAN（Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network) is an educational organization authorized by (QCA) and Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) , providing certification of quality education for students in the world and leadership development course. Based on the simulated business management system which is developed by China independently, the contestants will serve as the role of different senior managers of the company, making decisions in human resources, production, sales, transportation and paying close attention to market changes, in order to use the smallest spending to obtain the largest share of the market. In the completely simulated market, students can improve their economic analysis skills and logical reasoning ability as well as extend their connections and improve communication, teamwork, public speaking, and business English skills.

A good beginning is a strong proof of their power. They will go to Shanghai to attend the global finals of World Youth Economic Forum in July, competing with students from four continents in the world.
